Settlement Payments

Thank you for visiting to find out more information regarding the final step in completing the terms of our voluntary agreements reached with government agencies in 2016 to address what the agencies viewed as the unintended impacts of discretionary dealer compensation practices, common in the auto finance industry.

Letters were sent in early 2018 to certain Toyota Motor Credit Corporation (TMCC) customers to inform them of their potential eligibility to receive payment from the settlement fund established under the agreement. The fund is being administered by a third-party administrator. The government agencies determined eligibility and the administrator will be issuing the settlement payment checks over the coming weeks.
